Compressed Air Technology Used for Nitrogen Generation

There are numerous air compressors available on the market. Which one is best suited for a nitrogen generator? The answer is application.

If a customer has a small flow laboratory application, a scroll compressor may be the best choice since it is oil-free and very quiet. If a customer has a medium flow application but needs high pressure (ex. 180 psig), a rotary screw air compressor may be best suited. Click on the air compressors below to get a detailed description of the most popular types of air compressors used in the nitrogen generation industry.
