PSA Systems (pressure swing adsorption)

Generon IGS produces highly economical nitrogen generating systems from small portable units to large tonnage plants suitable for refining, chemical processing and other applications. Low investment costs and low energy consumption are benefits of our nitrogen generators, guaranteeing a solution for every situation. Generon IGS units operate according to PSA (Pressure swing adsorption) technology. High reliability, low operating costs and long lifetime are standard features of any Generon IGS nitrogen plant. The PSA process for nitrogen generation mirrors that of oxygen but CMS (carbon molecular sieve) is used instead of zeolite. Due to the adsorption properties of specially treated CMS, it's possible to produce nitrogen by charging two alternatively used adsorber vessels with compressed air. While one vessel adsorbs, the other regenerates by pressure reduction. Generon IGS has developed a proprietary mix of cycle timing and molecular sieve types to reach desired purity at maximum efficiency.

Easy-to-use, with simple push-button controls. GENERON's cabinet systems are the cost-effective solutions for applications requiring purities less than 99.9% and basic control capability. From our mini-module systems to the HP 4000 and HP 6000 Series, GENERON cabinet systems offer fully adjustable N₂ purity from 95-99.5%

GENERON HP2000 Cabinet Series

These compact systems are ideally suited to low-flow applications such as laboratories and applications that presently use high-pressure gas cylinders to obtain their nitrogen.

They offer nitrogen purities that are adjustable from 95% to 99.9%.

They provide nitrogen flows from 2-125 scfh (0.1-3 Nm3/h)

Their small footprint permits great flexibility in locating them on your site. And, the design of the HP 2000 cabinet allows for easy expansion, if necessary.

GENERON® HP/HPLC Skid-Mounted Systems

HP7000

Simple, push-button process control system. A cost effective choice for applications requiring purities less than 99.9% and basic control capability. This system can be used for flows greater than 1,000 scfh (26 Nm3/hour) up to 24,000 (631 Nm3/hour).

HPLC7000

Computerized, automated process control system. An ideal choice for applications requiring purities up to and beyond 99.9%, extremely precise control capability, data logging, or remote operation and communication. This system can be used for flows from 1,000 scfh (26 Nm3/hour) to more than 20,000 scfh (5,200 Nm3/hour).

GENERON® PNG Portable Nitrogen Generators - Containerized Series

PNG systems provide a nitrogen plant on site that is designed to generate nitrogen continuously in large volumes in virtually location or environment.

They match up with your existing portable compression equipment so that the PNG unit is the only equipment you need for industrial applications or oil field operations.

The container, measuring 8.5 ft. x 8 ft. x 20 ft. (2.6 m x 2.4 m x 6 m) , is built to ISO intermodal specifications. an optional GENCOM telemetry package permits off-site monitoring and control.

GENERON® High-Pressure Portable Nitrogen Generators - HP PNG Series

Generon IGS new High-Pressure Portable Nitrogen Generators are completely self-contained, totally portable, stand-alone gaseous nitrogen generating plants for use in oil/gas well drilling, completion and workover operations.

Fully equipped with a compressor for feed air and a diesel engine for power, HP PNG units can be used on-site, anywhere, in any climate from tropical to arctic.

Nitrogen can be generated at high pressures of up to 7,000 psig (48,265 kPa or 476 barg) or greater, with low oxygen levels. Nitrogen purity can be in the 93-95% range, or as high as 99.9%, as needed.

HP PNG systems are available as single skid-mounted units measuring about 34 ft. (10.3 m) in length for applications requiring flows to 750 scfm (19.5 Nm3/min.), or as containerized systems for higher flows to 7000 scfm (183 Nm3/min.) or greater.
