Saputo Inc. is the 12th largest dairy producer in the world. The company was started in 1954 and is headquartered in Montreal. They have over 12,000 employees with operations located around the world.

Saputo recently installed a nitrogen generator supplied by Compressed Gas Technologies Inc. at one of their US facilities. The unit is a high flow membrane unit with no moving parts. It has been installed on new packaging line. By installing a nitrogen generator, Saputo will not have to purchase liquid dewars of nitrogen. The payback on this project would be less than 12 months assuming 24 hour operation.
